Using the scriptures for number selections is an old art. There many ways of doing so. We want to bring a few of these ways to your attention here the Pick34 Bible web site. To uncover the numbers mysteries, the numbers secrets you start out with the basics: The Missing PairsWhere are the numbers 44 and 88?We know already that the zero was not known by the time the scripture was written. That is not a mystery any longer. So when when we look at pairs we will not expect a double zero for sure. Let's move on and start out with looking for double pairs: 11(eleven), 22(twenty-two), 33(thirty-three), 44(forty-four), 55(fifty-five), 66(sixty-six), 77(seventy-seven), 88(eighty-eight) and 99(ninety-nine).The long known result shows us one of the most intriguing mysteries yet: There is no 44 written in the bible and also no 88.Here some locations of of the other double pairs:Double Pair 11 Joshua 15:51 Goshen, Holon and Giloh—eleven towns and their villages.

| Is this a coincidence?Not necessarily. There are indications that even numbers had a touch of impurity in the old days. So it is more likely that odd numbers were picked. Interesting.So take a chance the next time you need to pick double pairs: Try the 44 or the 88. |
